Description
This design of flint cutting tool appears in Europe in the Neolithic Period as a unifacially flaked blade, but extended into the Bronze Age when the trend moved to bifacial retouch by pressure flaking. They make excellent serrated field knives. Probably the equivalent of the ‘countryman’s’ pocket knife today.
You can order this tool complete with a haft using wood, natural fibre and resin glue – please add “Tool haft” to your order.
